W600 WiFi Module, a New ESP8266 Competitor?

It is true that in the past 4 years, the ESP8266 is the most popular Wifi solution for Makers, the good spec and cheap price make the competitors, such as RTL8710, hard to grow up.
But sometimes plan B is indeed needed. Recently the W600 Arm SoC Wifi solution, released by Winner Micro, we think would be an evenly matched competitor for ESP8266.
Compares to ESP8266, the W600 solution is based on ARM cortex-M3, which is more popular than that in ESP solution, and 1M flash integrated (while NO for ESP8266). As the price, almost the same.
For the very detailed spec and how their performance in applications, tell the truth, Makerfabs do not test either. If you want to have a test of this solution by yourself:
1. Air602 WiFi Development Board
This Development Board is based on the Air602 Wi-Fi module and the integrated USB interface and Antenna. plug this board into the computer, it will be recognized as a Serial Port
(COM & LPT):
2. The Air602 Wifi Module
This module is based on the embedded Wi-Fi SoC chip (W600) with a 12-pin Stamp Hole Expansion Interface, it is even smaller than a stamp, only 12mm*10mm, small but complete, it offers a rich interface and complete functionality.
