1. Some kinds of certificates are required for products with lithium batteries, in selling and transportation, contact your supplier for these certificates.
2. The capacity of lithium battery is linear with its dimension. Generally:
Capacity(mAH) = Dimension(mm3)* density(0.11~0.15)
3. Even for batteries with the same capacity, their
maximum discharge current may be different, tell your vendor the max current you need;
4. Over-current & short-circuit protection is needed for lithium batteries. If protection is not considered in your design, tell your battery supplier that you need some protection, they can make it with the battery.
5. Don't try to weld wires on batteries by yourself. If you need to, tell your battery supplier to do that, they are more professional than you.
6. 18650 batteries are also lithium batteries.
7. The quality performance of the battery includes charging & discharging time, cycle times, low-temperature characteristics, and so on. If you don't have much experience, it's better to find a reliable& honest supplier.
